CASTRIES, St Lucia — Locals and residents as well as small businesses in Saint Lucia who wish to access immediate funds for daily needs or business working capital can now do so more quickly and more efficiently than ever before. That’s the word from the country’s newest microfinance institution – Axcel Finance.
Axcel Finance, which specializes in Xpress Loans, hire purchase and small business financing, MicroBiz, sees its presence in Saint Lucia and the wider region as the “answer to call” during very difficult financial times for many.
“Our aim is to ease the burden of these hard economic times, so that each and every individual who benefits from one of our loans is able to improve their financial situation and pursue their ambitions with more confidence and pride,” said Olaf Fontenelle, head of operations for Axcel Finance.
Axcel Finance also stated that they are a company with unique features of providing the fastest turn around on small loans and at the most competitive rates. The company also embraces a policy of community reinvestment and operating in the best interest of the markets it serves.
The entry of Axcel Finance into the country has been welcomed by the government of Saint Lucia. This was echoed by the country’s deputy prime minister and minister of infrastructure, port services, and transport, Phillip Pierre. He welcomed the company to Saint Lucia and commended them for their vision and for the products and services that are intended to ease the financial burden of Saint Lucians and thereby contributing to the overall national agenda of alleviating poverty and accelerating the goals of each citizen.
