Published on June 12, 2014 Email To Friend    Print Version

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados -- A culinary leader in the Caribbean, Barbados invites epicureans to ‘re-DISCOVER’ island fare with the island’s newest gourmet program catering to food lovers alike. Available through December 15, 2014, locals and connoisseurs can sample the best of Bajan cuisine at famed island eateries with a special tasting menu inclusive of a bottle of wine.

Distinctly unique at each restaurant, the ‘re-DISCOVER’ menu will include a special three-course tasting menu prepared with the freshest island ingredients and paired with a complimentary bottle of wine per couple. With dishes ranging from blackened flying fish seared with a mustard white wine sauce to braised black belly lamb with a rosemary au jus, guests will delight in a resolutely epicurean island experience like no other.

Participating restaurants include: Nishi, Tapas, Jumas, Paulos Churrasco, L’Attitude, Chez Max, Lanterns by the Sea, L’Azure, and Asian Spice.

Known for the island’s famed Food and Wine & Rum Festival and stellar Bajan cuisine, there has never been a better reason for foodies to flock to the sun-drenched island of Barbados. The ‘re-DISCOVER’ Barbados menu is priced at US$50 (BDS $99) per person and is inclusive of VAT and service charges.
