Letter: Missing baby
Published on March 10, 2017Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

I'm trying to get the word out about a baby taken to Puerto Rico by her mother to try to keep her away from her father. The mother Liznel Diaz, after finding out she lost custody, fled to her family in Puerto Rico.

She kept the father away during the pregnancy, threatened abortions by actually sending text messages with pictures of aborted babies saying that was going to be his baby. Then she moved to Puerto Rico to give birth. She told the father the baby wasn't his. She married a man during the last of her pregnancy and put his name on the birth certificate knowing he wasn't the father. That marriage was annulled.

The Florida judge ordered her to give up custody until she has a psychological evaluation and takes parenting classes. She has actually done this before with her older child but it seems that father has given up. My brother in law is desperate to get to know his daughter. It's his only child and he has had no time with her.

Is there a way to get coverage of this story? I am hoping to put some pressure on her. There is a warrant in Tampa for her arrest. Of course it's not good there but they are working on going through the Puerto Rican courts. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Adrenaline Hunsinger
