Letter: To the residents of the great historic district of Fox Hill
Published on March 9, 2017Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

Despite the difficulty of the day, despite how dark this hour of our history as people and as a nation might be, I am indeed privileged to serve you, the Fox Hill community, as a patriot and as a patron of progress.

It doesn’t take much for any right thinking Bahamian to see that our country for some time now has been going in the wrong direction and for our sake and the sake of our children today and yet unborn, we have to stand up and change this collision course with catastrophe. Hence the onus is on you and I to become the change that we want to see.

If we talk the talk and don’t walk the walk, then we are no better than those who have deceitfully and deliberately, for their own selfish gain, placed us as a people in this predicament. I would even go further to admonish you to take heed to the DNA Fox Hill Association’s Campaign Slogan: "The Fight For Our Future Is Now.” It is with hope, love and compassion that I greet you.

I will be on More 94 FM at 10 am Thursday morning. Please tune in.
