(L-R) Dr Ralph Gonsalves and Arley Gill
ST GEORGE’S, Grenada -- The public relations officer of Grenada’s ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Arley Gill, has hailed the “regional integration spirit” of the prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Former Senator Gill made the remarks following a report from St Vincent that Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves had assisted Grenada with loans over the past few months.
The money was said to have been made available to Grenada through a borrowing facility at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
There has been no confirmation of the report from Grenada government officials.
“If the report is true, it is commendable act on the part of Dr Gonsalves,” Gill said.
“Here’s a man and a comrade who is willing to come to the assistance of a CARICOM neighbour and friend; in a demonstration of the spirit of regional integration; and in keeping with the tradition of some of our best-known regionalists such Maurice Bishop, Michael Manley and Patrick Manning.”
The National Democratic Congress, said Gill, thanks Gonsalves for his “extreme act of kindness and generosity to the Grenadian people.”
The Vincentian prime minister’s action has been the subject of some criticism, including from the Public Service Union that has been seeking wage increases for its members.
“Even knowing that he might have faced criticism from his people, Dr Gonsalves still felt the situation in Grenada warranted his help. It’s another measure of this Caribbean statesman who has been a fearless and courageous leader in his economic policies and foreign policy initiatives,” Gill said. | | | Reads: 4385

Ian Francis:
ARLEY GILL:
Although I am not a supporter of your fumbling and dying party, I have supported Gonsalves in this initiative.
However, with due respecte to you, I think that you should adhere to the request of your leader and refrain from making regional statements purported to come from the ruling party.
It is my understanding that the NEC of the NDC has told you to stop. If this is the case, you should desist, lie low and allow the men to self destruct.
Again, all peace loving Caribbean people know that COMRADE made the right direction. LONG LIVE COMRADE GONSALVES. |
| Dicky2:
Ridiculous, Gonsalves and his party have essentially bankrupted SVG and he sees fit to give money away that the country can ill-afford. |
| Peter:
"LONG LIVE COMRADE GONSALVES" IAN FRANCIS, I agree may he live a long time, but not as prime minister of SVG.
He told us that he is here to finish the work of Maurice Bishop, he convinced the Grenadian government to rename Grenada's airport 'The Maurice Bishop International Airport'.
In return he paid Vincentian taxpayers money to the Grenadian government, $5 million to pay their employees pay rise. Can that be right when our public service workers are being underpaid, even paid late, sometimes weeks and months after due date.
He promised to pay a 3% pay rise to the VINCENTIAN Public Sector in January 2010. Told them on four occasions he did not have the money. Yet he had $5 million dollars to subscribe towards finishing the work of Maurice Bishop.
Is this the way MARXIST's work? Is this what the working people of SVG expect, is it what they deserve. After supporting him in three general elections, do they deserve such treatment?
MESSAGE TO GONSALVES BYRON-COX AND THE CARIBBEAN VINCENTIAN MARXIST BRIGADE.
IN 2001, PRIME MINISTER RALPH E. GONSALVES ISSUED OR CAUSED TO BE ISSUED A DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT TO A VINCENTIAN CANADIAN MAN CALLED REUBEN MORGAN, HE WAS NEITHER A DIPLOMAT OR EMPLOYED BY THE SVG GOVERNMENT. SUBSEQUENTLY IN 2004, MORGAN WAS ARRESTED AT A LONDON AIRPORT CARRYING A KILO OF COCAINE IN HIS LUGGAGE, HE WAS TRAVELING ON THE VERY SAME DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT THAT GONSALVES HAD APPROVED OR ISSUED TO HIM.
I doubt unless GONSALVES approves of a diplomatic passport it cannot be issued.
I ENQUIRE WAS THIS THE FIRST AND ONLY COCAINE DELIVERY TO THE UK, CANADA OR ELSEWHERE BY MORGAN? THE QUESTION HAS TO BE ASKED BECAUSE HE HAD THE DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT FOR 4 YEARS BEFORE HE WAS CAUGHT.
AT THE TIME OF REUBEN MORGAN TRAVELING TO THE UK HE WAS GOING TO AN EVENT WITH A RELATIVE JUDITH JONES-MORGAN ST.VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES ATTORNEY GENERAL, WHO WAS TRAVELING ON A DIFFERENT FLIGHT.
In 2010, Reuben Morgan opened a Chinese restaurant with his Canadian Chinese business partner in SVG at Villa.
In 2011 Morgan’s Chinese wok cooking expert said that he and Morgan were going to open a casino at the new Argyle Airport.
They could only do so with the blessing of GONSALVES. It must of been discussed somewhere along the line.
The Chinese Canadian having made that statement, GONSALVES got real angry, and said he would never sanction a CASINO at the airport.
One night the Chinese restaurant closed and all the equipment moved out during the early hours of the morning. Everything was shipped out to Saint Lucia, where they have now set up business.
CAN ANY OF THE CANADIAN DIASPORIANS TELL US ABOUT THE LIFE STYLE OF REUBEN MORGAN IN CANADA, WHO ARE HIS FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES?
Now we know that GONSALVES has not been to Canada for a long time, some say since he was accused and charged with sexual assault [case taken over and disallowed by Colin Williams DPP] by a Canadian lady human rights attorney, at the SVG Financial Complex office of GONSALVES.
Are the Canadian officials also interested in why GONSALVES gave a Diplomatic passport to a Canadian citizen, a passport that was used to smuggle cocaine?
February 3, 2006 a “CONFIDENTIAL” cable was sent by Mary Kramer, (then US Ambassador to Barbados and the Caribbean) which refers to bearers of passports to which they are not entitled .
¶10. (C) Comment: The increasing availability of campaign funds to Caribbean political leaders, combined with a lack of legal control over how the money is raised, makes for a troubling situation in a region where many turn a blind eye to corruption. A few hundred thousand dollars, a pittance to a wealthy business person in Barbados or the Cayman Islands, could buy a great deal of influence in one of the small, economically troubled countries in the region. Some of this influence may be purchased to further legitimate business concerns, but as in the case of marijuana growers, or even "the bearers of passports to which they are not entitled", the influence could be used for more nefarious purposes.
In 2010, a bag full of cash, US dollars turned up at the NCB bank, a million US to be exact, or there about. The bank was asked to change the money into EC$s, after due consideration the called his relative and told him to take the US$s away, refusing to change it. Days and weeks afterwards ULP relatives and friends began turning up at banks with smaller sums of US money and banking it. A ULP government official walked about with a huge roll of US$ bills in his pocket, removing it occasionally to pay bills in bars and shops.
GONSALVES has failed to give a credible answer about where that money came from.
That amount of money comes via banks, money transfers that can be checked for legality, not in an old bag. Only dirty money comes in an old bag.
Whoever gave it, did they expect it to be shared out among the ULP hierarchy? or was it to be used for the party? whichever it was shared out by a few.
I am sure the Canadians must be aware of all this, it must also be an unanswered episode for them, as it is for Vincentians.
ALL YOU IDIOTS IN THE DIASPORA WHO SUPPORT THIS CRAP REGIME, IT IS US LIVING HERE THAT ARE BEING TORTURED
WAKE UP AND SMELL THE SULPHUR, YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLED.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS FOR CANADIAN VISA REQUIREMENTS |
| Peter:
Grenadas Public Relations Office Arley Gill said "Gonsalves had assisted Grenada with loans over the past few months".
How many loans has GONSALVES made, he is treating our money as if its his own, we must all be crazy to put up with such crap.

| Ian Francis:
Unfortunately, your description of the Comrade Prime Minister, the state of the nation and other negatives are AGONIES that you will have to deal with and resolve in St.Vincent.
Having said the above, I will not engage in name calling, witing personal attacks against the Prime Minister. I think if you feel so strong then my suggestion is to join a national coalition that can challenge him. It is my understanding that this is very unlikely in the foreseeable future.
Finally, my observation and understanding of the Comrade Prime Minister is that he is a committed REGIONAL INTEGRATIONIST, HE IS A PRAGMATIC LEADER, PROGRESSIVE, PRINCIPLED AND COURAGEOUS.
I think the region needs many more like him. |
| Simon Anderson:
IAN, the persons you refer to here who malign the Prime Minister needlessly have political axes to grind.
You have suggested that they form/join a coalition to oppose the PM, but that will make no difference. They have nothing to contribute to the country.
THEY HAVE EYES BUT NO VISION.
They see ONE OF THE BEST Prime Ministers ever, but know it not.
These are sick, empty barrels. They need prayer. |
| Peter:
Perhaps ANDERSON and FRANCIS, would like to show where I told any untruth in what I wrote.
Is there anything that I wrote that isnt factual, if there is prove me wrong.
SEE PEOPLE, THATS THE BEST THEY CAN DO, NO REFERENCE TO THE WHAT I WROTE, JUST AN ATTACK ON THE MESSENGER. |
| Simon Anderson:
PETER, AH MEAN BRIAN ALEXANDER, you want us to answer your questions?
How about answering my questions first?
I have been asking you several questions for the last month, and you CANNOT answer.
When you answer my questions, in return, you will have your questions answered. WAIT YOUR TURN PETER, AH MEAN MR ALEXANDER. |
| Peter:
COOeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ANDY PANDY HORATIO BLOW YOUR HORN WILLIAMS, Thanks for the confirmation that what I wrote is true, your silence is golden, its a confirmation of what I wrote as true.
Homeland Security, safe houses
