Seaborne Airlines launches new direct service from San Juan to Martinique
Published on May 23, 2013 Email To Friend    Print Version

NEW YORK, USA -- Travelling from the US to Martinique will be made easier with the launch of Seaborne Airlines’ new weekly service to the island beginning June 1.

“This is a very exciting development and we are pleased that Seaborne Airlines has taken over the San Juan – Fort-de-France route, allowing convenient connections with major US cities and the Caribbean,” said Karine Roy-Camille, commissioner of the Martinique Tourism Authority.

“This new route, thanks to the interline agreement with American Airlines, will also allow more possibilities for Martinique residents to travel to North America. Furthermore, getting to Martinique will be easier for visitors from Puerto Rico.”

Additional airlift to the island of flowers is timed for connections to and from the United States and Canada, with interline connections available via American Airlines.

To celebrate the launch, Seaborne is offering fares as low as $131 one way for travel. Bookings must be made by June 15 for travel by July 31, 2013. In addition, Seaborne Airlines has an inaugural special for travels from June 1 to June 15, offering customers who buy a ticket one additional complimentary ticket for same-day travel.

Seaborne will use a SAAB 340 aircraft for the new Martinique service, offering 34 economy class seats, with in-flight service.
