Chavez and Iran speak with one voice about Jews. Chavez is a vehement supporter of Iran's nuclear ambitions and is a frequent visitor to Iran and Syria. He tends to link Israel, the US and Jews in a conspiracy to rule the world through war and capitalism.

In a shameless display of cynicism, Chavez wanted to scare his supporters into believing that the Jews were going to destroy the revolution, assassinate him and take away whatever goodies he may hand out. Chavez figures enough voters might just fall for it, making him look like an underdog who has challenged those with money and power. Meanwhile, his strategic allies in Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas stay satisfied, attracted by his rhetoric.

Chavez needs an enemy to blame for missing eggs and meat at the market, soaring prices, rampant unemployment and crime, who better than the Jews?

In 1999, before Chavez came to power, there were 30,000 Jews in Venezuela. Now, the community has dwindled to just less than 9,000.

Venezuelan Jews, having experienced virtually no anti-Semitism in their history, the Chavez years ushered in a set of new and frightening anti-Semitic experiences for Venezuela’s Jews, from cartoons in the press that could have been lifted from the notorious Nazi newspaper, Der Sturmer, to the vandalism of the main synagogue in Caracas. None of which could of taken place without the blessing or direct intervention of Chavez. According to a report documenting hundreds of anti-Semitic actions of the Venezuelan police and other Chavez government offices, the creation of a newly formed anti-Semitic rhetoric in government sponsored newspapers and the rise of anti-Semitic attacks against Jewish people and Jewish organizations, in a country that was totally lacking all these phenomena before Chavez, points to his personal involvement in active anti-Semitism. Examples of this sentiment include two government raids in the Jewish school of Caracas where they searched for evidence of weapons or subversive activity: a raid as elementary school children began their studies, and a second raid during a wedding in one of the school's halls.

Since 2004, Chavez has merged his anti-Zionist views with anti-Semitic ones.

In 2004 the Chavez government arranged for two anti-Semitic government raids in the Jewish school of Caracas where they searched for evidence of weapons or subversive activity.

December 24th 2005, Chavez stated that "the world is for all of us, then, but it so happens that a minority, the descendants of the same ones that crucified Christ [meaning Jews], the descendants of the same ones that kicked Bolivar out of here and also crucified him in their own way over there in Santa Marta, in Colombia. A minority has taken possession all of the wealth of the world." [Jews did not crucify Christ]

He went on to say Jews have been gobbling up wealth and causing poverty and injustice worldwide ever since [the death of Christ]. Chavez has declared war against the US "evil empire" and sees Jews and Israel in the same way Ahmadinejad, his partner, does.

In 2007, Jewish fear of Chavez mushroomed, when Chavez entered into $20 billion worth of joint ventures with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, including a shared bank and a Venezuelan airline that is frequented by Hezbollah terrorists. An airline used to carry uranium from Caracas to Iran.

The Chavez government arranged for an anti-Semitic raid during a wedding in one of the school's halls in the evening of December 2.

In 2008, a synagogue in Caracas was attacked by a mob, while no protection was provided by the police. The Simon Wiesenthal Center claimed this was directly tied to Chavez.

In 2009, vandalism took place of the main synagogue in Caracas.

In 2012, Chavez had a new domestic Jewish target, in the form of the rival presidential candidate to Chavez, the youthful and energetic Henrique Capriles. While Capriles is a practicing Catholic, his mother’s family, the Radonskis, arrived in Venezuela after surviving the Holocaust in Poland. Other members of the family perished in the Nazi concentration camps. The Chavez attacks on Capriles, Chavez and his state controlled press referred to him with an array of derogatory terms – “gringo,” “bourgeois,” “imperialist,” and, above all, “Zionist.” Moreover, there was no doubt that by “Zionist,” the regime meant “Jew.” The Chavez esteemed magazine Kikiriki, had the ugliest anti-Semitic headline during the election campaign.

Chavez’s alliance with Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah can be attributed to an Argentinean sociologist, Norberto Ceresole. An ardent admirer of Peronism in Argentina, Ceresole was living proof of what happens when the obsessions of the far left overlap with those of the far right. A Holocaust denier and all-round conspiracy theorist, Ceresole’s theories became the basis for what Venezuelans know as Chavismo, the matrix of social institutions and values created by the Chavez regime. The first chapter of a book in which Ceresole extolled the virtues of such a system, in which the relationship between the “leader” and the “people” is privileged, was entitled “The Jewish Problem.”

Chavez’s scum ready themselves to maintain his system after his death, I doubt that antagonism towards Jews will disappear. Nicolas Maduro is an orthodox Chavista who, as foreign minister, enthusiastically pushed for even closer relations with Israel’s enemies. Maduro’s main rival, the National Assembly President Diosdado Cabello, is viewed as less ideologically motivated -- yet he too is unlikely to mend fences with Israel and the US.

Adolph Hitler also had his ALBA, an assortment of countries who aligned themselves to him. His followers worshipped him, just like the Chavistas worship Chavez.

His main allies were Nazi Italy and Japan. Smaller countries included Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Finland and Thailand were not part of the Axis powers but did help them and fight with them during the war. Several countries were created during the war by the Axis. These countries were Croatia, Manchukuo, Slovakia and Vichy France. African Uganda and a lot of Arab countries liked the Nazi beliefs because of the policy of Hitler (Mein Kampf) Hitler’s book that said he would give the Jews of Europe dreadful treatment as they were considered vermin and should be destroyed as the final solution, so the Arabs loved Hitler just like they love Chavez, although Chavez never went quite as far as Hitler.

Hitler directly conquered Poland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Norway, Yugoslavia, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Crimea. Allied to Germany but under his control were Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland. Also Austria and Czechoslovakia.

If you count Italian possessions, then it expands to Italy, Sicily, Albania, Abyssinia, Libya, and portions of North Africa.

So Germany had 17 plus 5 allies, Italy had 2-1/2 (the half being portions of North Africa. Sicily was part of Italy).

Hi Peter. As a follow-up on your intriguing letting the cat out of the bag that certain "Portuguese" in SVG and the New World were actually ethnic Jews, let me mention a few specifically.

Francisco FRANCO, the FASCIST dictator of Portugal was actually a descendent of "Convertos"; his father's family were Jews, ethnically.

Peter has been mucho correcto. I was surprised that his researches also led him in that direction - - - and that he would choose to publicly expose his amazing findings. My more recent IRA-sympathetic HISTORY PROFESSOR, ralphie was my secondary 'first', could not adequately gain-say the thorough evidence that I had amassed then. As usual. They too bright. They don't even want to accept the evidential facts.

STEVE, there has been a debate since I was a boy that Hitler was of Jewish extraction via his grandparents. If you check out the search engine you will find all sorts of stuff on it.

I have always believed that he was a Jew, even the Israeli press have declared so.

It is also a fact that Ahmadinajad is of Jewish extraction, he changed his family name from Saburjian a Jewish name to Ahmadinejad an Iranian name, the origins of the Saburjian family come from the town of Aradan.
Ahmadinejad's relatives had told Britain's 'The Guardian Newspaper' following his election that the family had changed its name for "a mixture of religious and economic reasons."
