Letter: Spin doctors on parade II
Published on September 22, 2012 Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

On September 11, 2012, there was a news release entitled “Canada imposes visas on St Lucia, St Vincent, Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland” by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

The news release stated as its key reason, “A key reason why the government has imposed visa requirements on St Lucia and St Vincent is unreliable travel documents. In particular, criminals from these countries can legally change their names and acquire new passports. In some instances, people who were removed from Canada as security risks later returned using different passports. In the case of Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland, human trafficking, especially of minors, and fraudulent documents are of significant concern.”

On September 12, 2012, the original news release was updated to include an additional paragraph, “There has also been an unacceptably high number of asylum claims from St Lucia and St Vincent, with about one and a half percent and three percent of the population of these countries making asylum claims in Canada over the past five years. The African country that has the highest immigration violation rate is Namibia, with eighty-one percent in 2011. Seventy-one percent of travellers from Namibia made asylum claims in 2011.”

Well, the spin doctors from St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) are out again trying to convince the people of SVG and the world that Canada imposed visa requirements on SVG because of asylum/refugee claims.

When one looks at both releases, one can infer that calls were made in the diplomatic circles asking for the additional paragraph to be added in the second news release. Thus, 24 hours after the first news release, Canada updated its message.

If asylum/refugee claims were the main reason for the visa requirements, the initial news release and the updated news release would have emphatically stated that the key reason is asylum/refugee claims from SVG. Instead it says “A key reason why the government has imposed visa requirements on St Lucia and St. Vincent is unreliable travel documents. In particular, criminals from these countries can legally change their names and acquire new passports. In some instances, people who were removed from Canada as security risks later returned using different passports.”

It would have been just as easy for the updated news release to say, the key reasons are unreliable travel documents and asylum/refugee claims. Similar to how the African countries reasons were stated in both releases (human trafficking, especially of minors, and fraudulent documents are of significant concern). But it did not!

So the question then becomes, why is there a concerted effort by the spin doctors to emphasize the asylum/refugee claims? Do they believe that the people of SVG are that stupid? Or is it that there is a dirty little secret that blew up in their faces?

Still, the spin doctors continue to spin in SVG. Maybe it is a “revolution” in unreliable travel documents.

On September 10, 2012, there was a news release entitled “Canadian citizenship not for sale” by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Can the spin doctors say the same about SVG?

Peace and justice and get real.

Lenford O’Garro
Washington

P.S. Please, Mr Prime Minister, for Vincentians’ sake, go to Canada and deal with the issue personally.

Simon Anderson:

Arnhim Eustace has admitted that he supplied letters to Vincentians going to Canada, EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW THEY WERE LYING.

Did anyone else HEAR this recording?

Peter:

ANDERSON, because your a known MARXIST fraud and liar, we cannot accept any post from you as being true. You must submit the whole text and reference of where it came from and if from the internet, the address.

Otherwise I advise everyone to ignore his posts and make no reply to content.

How is the safe house business and dodgy passports?

VINCYPOWA:

Richard Huggins, here is an excerpt from the OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC NOTE from the CANADIAN EMBASSY in Barbados, courtesy of the GOVERNMENT of CANADA.

"Under the law, all travellers to Canada require a TRV [Temporary Resident Visa] unless otherwise exempted. The decision to remove visa exemption from Vincentian travellers was not taken lightly. However, St. Vincent and the Grenadines does not meet Canada’s criteria for an exemption from the visa requirement due to the sustained flow of asylum claimants to Canada and a high rate of immigration violations."

Richard Huggins, as has happened in the past, the Mr. Eustace and the NDP will come to be known, again, as PURVEYORS of LIES and NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA.

Moreover, HISTORY will be very CRITICAL of Mr. Eustace for his INABILITY to SHOW LEADERSHIP in times when it was needed. Moreover, history will show that Mr. Eustace never inspired the people to make this nation one of the BEST in the region.

In other words, Mr. Eustace's legacy will be one of FAILED LEADERSHIP, PESSIMISM and an INABILITY to INSPIRED the masses to do things that would have elevated their lives and that of the nation.

Peter:

Here is the other possible problem with unrealiable documents.

The Iranian regime has formed alliances with ALBA members. These alliances can pose an immediate threat by giving Iran—(the Revolutionary Guards) or its proxies like Hezbollah—a platform in the region to carry out attacks against the United States, Canada and Europe, using passports issued by ALBA member countries. These passports will allow Iranians to carry out clandestine operations in those countries that they consider their enemies.

I believe that our association with Iran has had a great influence on the Canadian Visa problem.

Iran is an ally of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Gonsalves joined SVG to the ALBA, ALBA supports Iran and partners with it in several projects. Such as the ALBA military Academy in Bolivia, where the trainers are partly the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

TEHRAN, July 31 (MNA) – Three flights in a week have been put on schedule between Iran and Venezuela, Reza Jafarzadeh the Public Relations Officer at the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) said here on Monday.

An agreement on the establishment of air transportation between Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was inked by Rezaii Niaraki, the acting director of the CAO and his Venezuelan counterpart, Jafarzadeh said.

A scheduled flight weekly has been established between Caracas, Venezuela and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Ring any bells?

Tellitasitis:

I do not think that the Prime Minister of SVG can go to Canada and deal with this issue personally. My understanding is that if the Prime Minister sets foot in Canada he may face arrest in relation to an allegation of rape made against him by a Canadian national.

Simon Anderson:

"Unreliable travel documents" simply cannot be the major reason for Canada imposing visa restrictions on Vincentians.

In that case, the same thing would have to be true of St Lucia and a whole host of other countries as well.

QUESTION: Has the USA, which receives more that 20 times as many Vincentian nationals annually through its borders, ever complained about unreliable travel documents?

No other country in the world has ever complained about our travel documents, why would this, all of a sudden, be a problem for Canada?

HERE IS THE REAL PROBLEM...

Arnhim Eustace and St Clair Leacock have ADMITTED PUBLICLY that they have fraudulently written letters for our nationals desirous of living in Canada. They said that they did so EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW THE INDIVIDUALS WERE LYING!

Some Vincentians have admitted applying for refugee status despite the fact they were not refugees.

Several guys claimed that they were homosexual, and were not able to practice their orientation in peace without being harassed.

The same thing applies to females who falsely claimed they were lesbian and were being terrorized as a result of their lifestyle.

St Clair Leacock even foolishly admitted that some of "his applicants" were gang members. Now, why on earth would Canada want to import Vincentian gang members?

The false claims of being refugees is what has placed us in this position. It is estimated that about 98% of these claims are false.

Take a look at a partial list of a couple hundred Vincentians who have applied for refugee status in Canada.

Peter:

TELLITASITIS, I have heard that, but I have also heard it said that he denies the charge. So if he is innocent he will go, if he is guilty he wont.

Its just a matter of did he, or didn't he, related to will he or wont he.

We will see, lets play it this way, if goes perhaps he is guilty, if he doesn't go he is certainly guilty.

Thank you TELLITASITIS for your input.

COOeeeeeeeeeee! fat man what are you going to do, will you or wont you?

Why not get your cowardly body in motion and go, just for the hell of it. You can always use your OBEAH, remember you told us in parliament that you do OBEAH for the Lord.

Richard Huggins:

Lenford, even the document from the canadian government cannot convince them that travel documents are the reason. Its a shame how during this great education revolution, simple reading and understanding have eluded some of us.

I am also of the belief that a call was made to have the refugee paragraph included in the second release. But the key issue remained for all too see, except Simon 'vincy powa' Anderson of course.

The canadian is saying its the key reason but this guy is saying its not. Unreal

STEVE_HUGGINS:

WHO is responsible for issuing that SVG DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT TO THE COCAINE MAN MORGAN THAT THE AUTHORITIES BUSTED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM ?

Was ANYONE HELD TO AN ACCOUNTING in the corrupt political directorate ?

WHO ALL were INVOLVED ?

WERE any LAWS OF SVG infringed in CRIMINALLY ENABLING THIS COCAINE TRAFFICKER ?

Simon Anderson:

HERE IS A QUOTE FROM CANADA'S HIGH COMMISSION DIPLOMATIC NOTE TO ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES dated Sept 12, 2012.

"St Vincent and the Grenadines does not meet Canada's criteria for exemption from the visa requirements due to the sustained flow of asylum claimants to Canada and a high rate of immigration violations."

The truth is that Arnim Eustace, St Clair Leacock and company wrote letters for Vincentians who wished to stay in Canada.

These parliamentarians have admitted that they KNEW THAT THE APPLICANTS WERE LYING but they still wrote letters for them anyway.

They abused the privilege and now want to blame someone else.

Lenford O'Garro:

So let me get this straight! Simon is saying that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) (an announcement from Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney) and the Canada High Commission are at odds on what is the key reason for the implementation of visa requirement for St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

So, to add a little clarity here are links to both releases from Citizenship and Immigration Canada about the key reason for the implementation of visa requirement for SVG. However, since the initial release was updated it is not on CIC’s website but it is on another website.

The original release:
http://immigrationcounsels.ca/canada-imposes-visas-on-st-lucia-st-vincent-namibia-botswana-and-swaziland

The updated release:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-09-11.asp

If what Simon is saying is in fact the truth, Canada has more problems than refugee claims from SVG. Therefore, please Simon share the link to the diplomatic note or better yet convince the government of SVG to let the Canada High Commission publish a link to the diplomatic note. This will certainly go far in advancing the cause for good governance!

Simon Anderson:

MISS O'GARRO must be either a fool or a clown.

She supplied a clip which states as follows: "There has been an unacceptably high number of asylum claims from St Vincent..."

The release continued to state that up to about "3% of the population made asylum claims."

MISS O'GARRO herself provided the proof, but is still calling on me to provide additional information.

Miss O'Garro, are you aware that Arnhim Eustace AND St Clair Leacock BOTH admitted that they wrote "asylum" letters for Vincentians desirous of living in Canada?

...And Miss o'gARRO, are you further aware that Arnhim further stated that HE "KNEW THE INDIVIDUALS WERE LYING."

Lenford O'Garro:

Simon is losing the argument therefore he/she is resorting to making things up and calling me names. Do you really think your “bullying” is going to work? News flash! I am a ghetto-man to me heart! There is nothing you can make up or say to “bully” me into silence. Nice try, wheel and come again!

Back to the issue, by not showing the whole diplomatic note or a link to the whole diplomatic note, Simon is being disingenuous. Simon cannot just claim that the Canada High Commission said in a diplomatic note without showing what’s in the whole diplomatic note. Simon seems to be a player in the SVG’s government to have access to the Canada High Commission diplomatic note which no one else have at hand or a link to the said diplomatic note. Please Simon, share the link to the diplomatic note or better yet convince the government of SVG to let the Canada High Commission publish a link to the diplomatic note.

Conveniently, Simon ignores the key reason stated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) (an announcement from Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney): “A key reason why the government has imposed visa requirements on St. Lucia and St. Vincent is unreliable travel documents. In particular, criminals from these countries can legally change their names and acquire new passports. In some instances, people who were removed from Canada as security risks later returned using different passports.”

Peter:

Here is what has actually happened. SVG have allowed people to change their names and issued them new passports with no comments page included in the passports where the previous name should of been written.

Some of the people who changed there names were previously deported from Canada and the US.

Thousands of this dodgy type of passport were issued. Many have now been recalled and destroyed, but there are still many out there without the all important comments page.

Some people when going through Barbados immigration could not even speak English properley or explain the demographics of where they live in SVG.

Simon Anderson:

Peter, ah mean Brian Alexander, I am going to make a fool of you, but I won't tell anyone how much of a fool you actually are.

I will let you prove that to the readers, so that I would not have to do so myself.

I will tease you like a dog, and make you carry on with a nonsensical rant. When you do so, everyone would see how much of a bird-brain you actually are.

Peter, ah mean Brian Alexander, why did the Police pick you up at work and take you into the main Police Station?

What questions did they ask you Brian Alexander?

Were they asking about the missing money from PH Veira, Brian?

STEVE_HUGGINS:

LENFORD, I see that the COPY-CAT COMMUNIST 'comrade' stayed on "NEUTRAL GROUND" lately, when he 'had' that subsequent chat with the CANADIAN OFFICIAL.

Now, my compatriot, don't you think that the POLITICAL COCO-BEY could have been REAL useful and effective IF HE HAD JUST 'CROSSED' THE AVOWED FRIENDLIEST INTERNATIONAL BORDER IN THE WORLD and visited our suffering VINCY BRETHREN AND SISTEREN IN TORONTO, ONTARIO, AND THROUGHOUT OUR HISTORIC, TRADITIONAL, FRIEND CANADA ?

Yuh know, ah 'bin ah the ULP-organized THOUSAND ISLANDS VINCY PICNIC some time recently, and dem guys telling me that the CARIBBEAN COPYCAT hasn't visited them for about SIX YEARS now. Yuh 'tink that he 'FRAID CANADA ?

Even he Grammar and Manchester ole boy KENNETH JOHN is asking THAT QUESTION nowadays.

DO YOU THINK THAT IT IS TRUE, IN-TRUTH ?

THAT IS, THAT THE PRIME MINISTER IS MORTALLY AFRAID TO VISIT CANADA ?

They even organizing a RIVAL ULP Commie airport in THE BIG APPLE, now, EVEN THOUGH THE UNDIPLOMATIC 'diplomat' sinisterly ATTACKED NYC's REPUTATION recently, especially its finest POLICE DEPARTMENT representative.

Could this competing 'Big Apple' picnic have been organized so that the COMMUNIST COPYCAT does not have need to GO OVER THE BORDER TO CANADA - - - even on the very border like THOUSAND ISLANDS ???

HERE'S a REPEAT of PETER's oft-communicated OPEN INVITATION TO THE BOASTFUL PM to please VISIT CANADA urgently. Maybe they wont do 'nuthin. Perhaps it is just all tark. Accommodate them all, Commie, and ley we see you visit the friendly ally nation of CANADA immediately IN ORDER TO PUSH SVG's case with great dispatch and greatly assist VINCENTIANS IN CANADA - - - and all those myriad VINCY BRETHREN, AND VINCY SISTERTEREN, WHO NEED TO VISIT OR MIGRATE THERE.

Don't neglect our long-suffering SVG SISTERS AND BROTHERS, NATIONALS ALL, in beloved, charitable, CANADA.

I know that you can more than visit there, CANADA - - - and that you don't have to wait on any say-so or "O.K." from the lawyers.

VISIT WE NATIONALS HERE, false 'comrade' - - - and yuh don't have to necessarily ground with the I-man.

Have a grande BON VOYAGE, mon ami . . . er, comrade.
