Letter: Only De Comrade could defeat De Comrade in 2015: Stop creating winning conditions
Published on September 7, 2012 Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

Going for a fourth term mandate is always difficult for any governing party in a democracy, no matter how well they have served their people. ULP in SVG is no exception. Political scientist, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves knows this more than most.

The ULP leadership seems to be banking on the poor performance of opposition leader Arnhim Eustace and the rest of the NDP representatives. The ULP leadership is banking on the comic relief provided over the years by Ivan O’Neil and his green rump. And the ULP leadership may be banking on the political stupidity of Anesia Baptiste and her new group called DRIP (Democratic, Republican and Independent Party).

ULP supporters, like most other Vincentians -- at home and in the Diaspora -- are aware of the satisfactory, most times outstanding, leadership performance of De Comrade and his ULP government since they came to office in March 2001.

In every area of governance, De Comrade has demonstrated his passion, commitment, caring, vision and effective leadership ability and style, to deliver and improve the quality of life for the Vincentian people.

But all that may not matter in 2015, simply because De Comrade is eyeing a (consecutive) fourth term mandate in an environment where even die-hard Labourites are now openly expressing unhappiness with the arrogance of many of the ULP top operatives and public servants who continue to undermine De Comrade by providing disrespectful service to the average “Joe Public”. Many are not happy that even known NDP fanatics has been chosen for jobs and other appointments for which they (Labourites) are eminently qualified.

De Comrade has been well aware of this over the years, but has taken no corrective measures.

Now, time is running out for De Comrade to replace the Commissioner of Police, appoint a crime czar and make more serious efforts to deal with escalating crime and violence in our once peaceful Hairouna.

As contended by this writer so many times before, Commissioner of Police Keith Miller is a poor administrator, who does not command the respect and trust of many police officers and the general public alike. Miller may very well be De Comrade’s greatest liability going into the next election.

Time is running out for De Comrade to put his Minister of National Reconciliation to work to implement the measures he (Maxwell Charles) outlined in his January 2011 budget presentation. Minister Charles promised then, that his four-point plan would put an end to political tribalism and work towards achieving much needed national unity. Since January 2011, Minister Charles has not delivered on even one of his four-point plan.

Time is running out for De Comrade to deal with the arrogance of his top-heavy public relations gang. De Comrade needs to trim the fat in that area. Most of these arrogant power lords do nothing but rape the democratic process on their so-called ULP radio shows and in every rum shop there is in SVG. They exhibit a complete lack of tolerance for anyone who expresses a different point of view. They are De Comrade’s “Achilles heel” and could very well cost him the 2015 elections.

ULP General Secretary has become Arnhim Eustace’s top cheer leader. Julian Francis believes that Eustace is the ULP’s greatest asset for the 2015 elections. Seems the ULP leadership is sold on this. They also surmise that Ivan O’Niel and his green rump may receive less than 50 votes (total) in the next elections. And the political upstart Anesia Baptiste may spend millions “raised at home and in the Diaspora” to continue to massage her over-inflated ego and lust for instant power.

Be again warned, Comrade. If you are voted out of office, it would not be because of the efforts King Dotish, Ivan De Terrible and Cult Queen. It would be because disgruntled supporters stay at home on election day and others vote against a good government, which will benefit not a weak opposition. Only De Comrade could defeat De Comrade in 2015.

Do the right thing now, Comrade. Defend our gains, protect your legacy and keep the ULP working for the continued growth and development of SVG. Keep our blessed Hairouna out of the destructive hands of the NDP. Stop creating winning conditions for a party that can never win on its own.

Now, garbage this too “Scooper” Anthony “AD” Dennie.

Who Was Your Leader, Home Boy?

“...Any honest person out there would admit that it was the effort of Anesia Baptiste, today founder of the DRP that influenced the Vote No Campaign, ran primarily by the NDP, into having success at the polls, in defeating the Constitution Bill 2009, Baptiste said”... Searchlight Newspaper – Tuesday, August 28, 2012.

So did the Vincentian electorate defeat a “Constitution Bill” or a Constitutional Referendum?

Was the Cult Queen the leader of the opposition at the time, or was it King Dotish?

Who was your leader, Home Boy?

Simon Anderson:

PETER, THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY.

I HAVE GIVEN YOU 2 EXTRA (FREE) DAYS TO ANSWER THOSE QUESTIONS.

Peter, if you do not answer those questions, I will.

1) Do you know Brian Alexander?

2) Who is Brian Alexander?

3) Does the name Brian Alexander ring a bell in your mind?

4) Are you and Brian Alexander very good friends?

Allan Palmer said that I am the Commissioner of Police in Bermuda, so do not lie to the reading public, Peter.

I have given you two extra days so you could even make-up a lie for the public, like you guys always do.

Monday is your deadline Peter.

...MONDAY IS D-DAY!

Signed,

COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

Peter:

People you are all being fooled by this Marxist scum regime.

I WOULD LIKE TO ASK WHY NONE OF SAINT VINCENTS NEWSPAPERS PICKED UP ON THIS?

WHY HAS GONSALVES KEPT THE CONTENT, THEME AND CONCLUSIONS A STATE SECRET?

WHAT IN [ deleted 'F' word expletive] NAME IS GOING ON?

February 2012, the 11th summit took place in Caracas, Venezuela, with a variety of regional and international topics on its agenda, the focus was clearly on economic integration between the ALBA members and progress.

All member countries agreed to deposit 1% of their foreign currency reserves in the ALBA Bank, which was founded in 2008 as Latin America's alternative and answer to the IMF. In the case of Venezuela, the deposited sum will amount to about US $300 million, President Hugo Chavez announced.
"ALBA's Economic Council wants to create a reserve fund," Venezuelan Industry Minister Ricardo Menendez indicated. "ALBA Bank will serve as an economic stepping stone to deepen and strengthen our Alliance", he said. This will mean a strengthening of the reliance of the alliance of the ALBA members.

Another topic at the top of the agenda was the common ALBA currency, SUCRE (Sistema Unitario de Compensacion Regional). Created as a means of promoting Latin American and Caribbean States financial independence and minimizing foreign exchange risks. In 2011, 431 transactions in SUCRE took place, worth US $216 million. Its use will be increased in 2012 with all ALBA members expected to switch to the system.

Cuban President Raul Castro deemed the Economic Council to be the most important of ALBA's five working commissions, "because the future of ALBA will depend on its economic success," he said. Raul Castro expressed hope and optimism for ALBA's future, applauding the creation of ECOALBA (Espacio Economico de ALBA).

Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega said that global capitalism was suffering under a severe systemic crisis, so ALBA nations must continue strengthening and enlarging "Socialism of the 21st Century." All members are expected dutifully to follow the path of Scientific Socialism.

Bolivian President Evo Morales repeated his advice that basic services like water and electricity must never be privatized in any of the ALBA countries. "It should be clear and self-evident that liberating social politics will always go hand in hand with liberating economy", Morales affirmed.

Ecuador's President Rafael Correa admonished that "fair and just economic measures" should reach further than ALBA, they should also encompass UNASUR (Union de Naciones Suramericanas). "And of course it will be necessary for all of us to use one common currency, SUCRE. We must avoid the use of foreign currencies for Latin American trade and commerce," Correa said, referring to the instability of the US dollar. We must all work towards the SUCRE becoming a hard currency to be used commonly between ALBA members as soon as possible.

Ralph GonSalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in agreement of the foregoing, commented that "the only factor limiting us might be our imagination". He expressed admiration for the Venezuelan government because of giving strong positive impulses to the entire region.

President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela suggested that all member states should also create common Armed Forces for regional defense. All members are expected to subscribe men, hardware and funds. ALBA Armed Forces should hold regular joint military exercises. All the member countries agreed on preparatory measures for the formation of ALBA Armed Forces.

The main in International topics discussed were Puerto Rico, the Malvinas Islands, Haiti and Syria.

Puerto Rico: A common declaration of freedom and independence from the United States for Puerto Rico was approved by every ALBA member. It states that "the people of Puerto Rico have the unalienable right of self-determination". Furthermore the declaration states that Puerto Rico is a Latin American and Caribbean nation with its own proper history. The nation's full independence must be restored and respected by the international community. All ALBA members agreed to support in any way possible to break the chains of American bondage.

The relationship between Puerto Rico and the United States dates back to the Spanish-American War, in which Spain, under the terms of the Treaty of Paris of 1898, ceded the island to the United States. Puerto Ricans became U.S. citizens in 1917.
Interference in this arrangement by ALBA, and more particularly by SVG and GONSALVES, could be very dangerous for our relationship with the US.

The ALBA military school based in Bolivia is training army and police in interrogation tactics and methods. ALBA is also training in Socialist Political [communism] indoctrination, class's are held on an ongoing basis. The trainers are an Iranian Revolutionary Guard division, based in Bolivia.

How many SVG police officers to date have attended the college?

SVGS Black Squad have become the GONSALVES political enforcement squad. Tell us how many Black Squad officers have attended the school?

Why did the BLACK SQUAD remove BIGGER BIGGS gates at Rabaca, who instructed them to do that. As this was clearly a criminal act, what is comrade GONSALVES, the MARXIST master going to do about it? Or did he know about such action?

Peter:

D. Markie Spring :

I want to take this moment to talk to Mr. Wade Kojo Williams, a fellow Vincentian living in Canada. More so, a Vincentian who has different political views and also a man who committed his life to defame the characters of those who dare to condemn the hideous behaviors of our PM and his ineffective ideologies.

Mr. Wade Kojo Williams for some time now you have been addressing me with ill words. Initially, you used ‘idiot,’ ‘liar’ ‘stupid’ and the like. Now you have consistently referred to me as “Basin Hole Premier” (in a degrading manner). Mr. Williams, while these names do not pass the surface of my skin, it is really a bad reflection on Vincentians in politics on Caribbean News Now.

Mr. Williams, if I am indifferent it does not mean I am lesser person than you are. Just remember that everyone is not going to believe in the direction you want the country to go.

Mr. Williams for some time now I have tried to have decent debates with you with no success. Why are you so insensitive? I have never done anything to you? You do not know me so what is the problem? I have never disrespected you in any form or fashion, so what’s with the name calling?

Wade, again I would remind you that name calling does not fix our problem, working together can though. If I want Mr. Williams I could sit at my computer and like you I can irresponsibly address you with the worst kind of words. But I am man, a professional and a person who do not believe in violence. Mr. Williams, the same way you behaving is the same way our PM has been to the people of our nation. And do not think for a moment that the defamatory characters designed by our PM to our nation do not include you, because at time he said…”Vincentians” which mean all of us…….

Mr. Williams, let’s go back to the name calling. You also are addressing the leader of the opposition party, Mr Eustace as “King Dotish” Again, Mr. Williams why are you so disrespectful? Your latest victim is Mrs. Anesia Baptiste the leader and founder of the DRP; first, you address her as “Cult Queen” and went on to discredit her party and endeavors as DRIP when in reality you knew it’s DRP.

Mr. Williams if I should and supposed me, Anesia Baptiste, Esutace etc. called you names such as: “Run away thief,” “King Thief,” “Thieving King,” “The Thief,” “Fat and ugly” “Big ace monster,” “Pedophile” etc how would you feel. But Vincentians ignore those names above. I was just drawing a reference.

Wade, why can’t you respect other people’s opinions, disagrees and submits better solutions?

Wade you are getting older change your insidious behavior.

Mr. Williams all I want to do is to discuss the issues and bring our country together – can you do that?

Peter:
He said "We are on the cusp of an economic takeoff" when we were hurtling towards bankruptcy.

Well I'll eat my hat.

COOeeeeeeeeeeeee! ANDERSON, I refuse to accept any extension from you. I therefore subject myself to your exposure. Thanks for the offer anyway, very kind of you, most delightful gesture, top notch, tallyho. Give my regards to Broadway.

Verse 1
Did you ever see two Yankees part upon a foreign shore
When the good ship's just about to start for Old New York once more?
With a tear-dimmed eye they say goodbye, they're friends without a doubt;
When the man on the pier shouts, "Let them clear!", as the ship strikes out...

By the way ANDERSON, who are you today, George Washington, Nelson, Bermuda’s Police Chief?

Simon Anderson:

PETER, I AM YOUR SUPERIOR. YOU DO NOT ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. I ASK THE QUESTIONS HERE.

You have until Monday to tell the readers

1) Who is Brian Alexander?

2) Do you know Brian Alexander?

3) Does the name Brian Alexander sound familiar to you?

4) Are you and Brian Alexander friends?

Allan Palmer has told you and the world that I am the Police Commissioner in Bermuda....so DO NOT LIE TO THE PUBLIC.

PETER, answer by Monday, or else....

Signed,

COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
