I do not believe that I am the only person who has noticed that Allan Palmer has an unhealthy obsession with Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Not only has Palmer admitted and bragged that he went to jail in St Vincent for the prime minister's attempted murder, but Palmer never fails to think of, focus on, and write, even repetitive articles abusing and denigrating the prime minister.

As I looked through Caribbean News Now during the last four months, I noticed that Palmer almost never ever writes about anything else. It is like he has a one-track mind. I will highlight each and every article Palmer has submitted to Caribbean News Now for the past four months, and you be the judge.

Sept 25, 2012: "An analytic reply to PM Gonsalves commentary."
Palmer as usual, was way off-base in his observations which have long been recognized as being tainted and jaundiced, as a result of his irrational motives. Even the Editor, who does not normally get involved in discussions, felt compelled to comment on Palmer's irrationality. Palmer is an ignoramus, nevertheless, this was a deliberate attempt on his part to mislead the reading public.

Sept 20, 2012: "Prime Minister Gonsalves: A man who speaks indiscreetly."
Once again, Palmer, probably without even realizing it, displayed his irrational motives for opposing the political leader which the majority of Vincentians supported for the last four general elections. Palmer's preoccupation with the prime minister could be temporarily ignored since it is recognized that he has a political axe to grind.

Sept 8, 2012: "Camillo Gonsalves: Should he be recalled."
This is a topic which Allan Palmer has written on several times over the past several months. Camillo Gonsalves is the first son of PM Gonsalves, and is our country's ambassador to the United Nations. As a result, Palmer's intense dislike for the prime minister is automatically transferred to his son. To make matters worse, Camillo Gonsalves, a qualified lawyer, engineer and diplomat is supremely positioned to become out next prime minister... and face the brunt of Palmer's continued rants.

Sept 6, 2012: "What does Elson Crick have to offer St Vincent and the Grenadines?"
Elson Crick is a communications consultant and PRO of PM Gonsalves' ULP. As a result, Mr Crick's association with the man Palmer hates the most, is too close for comfort. Palmer therefore ignores Mr Crick's stellar academic qualifications and experience, endeavouring to bring him down to his level... in the gutter.

Aug 30, 2012: "I confess, I was wrong about Ralph Gonsalves."
Here is an attempted piece of sarcasm by Allan Palmer. However, he succeeds in fooling no one. This attempt by Palmer to give the impression that he, at one time, supported the PM is utterly false. I have no clue what started Palmer's intense dislike of the PM, but there is simply no comparison between these individuals. Ralph Gonsalves has a PhD, is a political scientist, was a university lecturer, is an experienced attorney, has 12 years of experience as a prime minister, and possesses 40+ years of experience being a political activist. Allan Palmer on the other hand, is a semi-illiterate ex-police officer, ex-inmate of Her Majesty's Prison.

Aug 22, 2012: "I will rise even higher."
Allan Palmer, in this submission of his, pretended that he was a saint and a martyr. Unfortunately, he could not maintain this feigned innocence, and quickly relapsed into admitting that he was forced to leave Dominica as a fugitive from the law. He went on in this article to also state that he was forced to leave Bermuda, again fleeing the law, and took a boat to St Croix in Dec 2008. From there, he quietly slipped into the USA as an undocumented resident.

Prior to leaving Bermuda however, his rented premises were searched and Palmer had a stash of hallucinogens, which may have contributed to his imbalanced mental condition. One of his riding partners was not so fortunate, and ended up in the psychiatric ward as a patient. Palmer was faced with 23 charges, and all of this HE HAS ADMITTED, and could be found in this post of his.

International Celebrities Chastised

Anyone who dares speak-out in support of the many excellent initiatives launched by the Gonsalves administration finds themselves at the receiving end of Allan Palmer and company's criticism. Here are a few examples.

IAN FRANCIS - Grenada: Mr Francis, for simply supporting PM Gonsalves' financial assistance to Grenada, in their time of need, was almost crucified by Allan Palmer, Brian Peter Alexander, and company. The same thing happened again when Mr Francis made the point that PM Gonsalves was a true Caribbean patriot.

WELLINGTON RAMOS - Belize: Mr Ramos, did not even make a political statement, but was ungraciously embarrassed by Allan Palmer, Brian Alexander and company. All Mr Ramos was commenting on was the removal of the Garifuna people from St Vincent to Belize. For this, the attack on him was nothing short of amazing, illogical and incomprehensible. The rants by Alexander and Palmer were clearly unfathomable and unintelligible, claiming that they were "scoundrels and mongrels."

DR ISAAC NEWTON - Antigua: Allan Palmer, Peter Brian Alexander and company tore into Dr Newton because Dr Newton described Dr Gonsalves as "a fearless leader whose tenure has catapulted Vincentians into our techno-information era." They carried on in their usual rabid manner accusing Dr Newton of all manner of atrocities.

REBECCA THEODORE - Dominica: Ms Theodore made the "mistake" of calling PM Gonsalves great, famous and noble. Markie Spring, Allan Palmer and company took her to task for that observation. In fact, there was an ongoing verbal/literary squabble between them for an extended period of time. All of this, simply because Ms Theodore did not worship at the altar of Palmer and Spring's backward and ignorant "blame Ralph philosophy."

IMF, World Bank, US Government Maligned

Allan Palmer and company accused the IMF of collusion with the Gonsalves administration in an effort to portray acceptable economic growth for in St Vincent. The World Bank was criticized for not knowing what they were doing when they invited Dr Gonsalves to address them on the creation of our education revolution. The US government as well, was roundly condemned and castigated for stating that Dr Ralph Gonsalves is easily the most affable and intelligent prime minister in the region.

Gonsalves Even Controls the Weather

Beginning in 2001, PM Gonsalves and his ULP government have had an ongoing middle-income, low-income and no-income housing program for the entire duration of their administration. Their no-income housing program included a 100% mortgage for public servants. The areas served are Fitz Hughes, Petit Bordel, Peter's Hope, Clare Valley, Green Hill, Ottley Hall, Brighton, Diamond, Sans Sousi, Colonarie, Byera and Langley Park. Obviously, with such a housing revolution in progress, building materials were ordered monthly. General elections were due in December 2010, but Hurricane Tomas stopped by two months earlier, in October 2010.

A shipment of lumber, cement and galvanized arrived in St Vincent one week prior to Hurricane Tomas' arrival. Palmer and company made it known that PM Gonsalves KNEW that the hurricane was coming, and ordered the building materials in advance, so that he could distribute them prior to the general elections, in an effort to secure votes and a victory at the polls.

8. The GDP (nominal) of SVG is more than billion dollars – SVG’s GDP is now estimated to be 700 million.

I am still awaiting for Horace Williams to explain the why he informed us that he has a family owned “Real Estate firm.” Moreover, I want Horace Williams to explain why he and “Patterson” from Kingstown Park conspired to sabotage the just conclude Peaceful Caribbean Conference.
