Letter: Please help us, Comrade
Published on February 3, 2012      Print Version

Dear Sir:

Prime Minister Gonsalves, the reaction of your supporters who are unhappy with your gestures for national reconciliation is quite understandable.

You have gone far enough and should not get any further into the way of the maintenance of law and order.

Comrade, your greatest act as prime minister would be to rid Parliament of Daniel Cummings.

May I ask: If the court ruling against Cummings stands, does that not render him unfit to be a Member of Parliament? If not, the bankruptcy route will suite Vincentians just fine.

Please help us, Comrade.

Major Bouncer Offers Endorsement?

MP St Clair Leacock is reported to have endorsed the leadership of King Dotish.

Does an endorsement from unruly, dishonourable Major Bouncer really matter?

Of course when you are so incompetent, dotish and hanging to a stray, an endorsement from the best known convicted criminal would be a "God send".

Imperfection?

[“I will speak to my imperfections because I know I have to address them. My home situation, I will address it in the fullness of time on the radio. Because when I have to come contrite, when I have to apologise, or express regrets to my constituents over certain matter and address how I am going to move forward by formal and lawful means, I will do that,” Leacock said.]

While you are dealing with your imperfections, please be a big man. Make a Member's Statement the next time the House meets. You need to apologise to the Hon. Speaker, the Members of Parliament and the nation for your obnoxious behaviour inside and outside the Honourable House.

Wade Kojo Williams, Sr.
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
