Letter: A time for national reflection
Published on October 27, 2012 Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

There comes a time in each person’s life, when they reach a stage of maturity, where life takes on a new meaning, each day hold a new value and significance. It is at this stage we take every opportunity to objectively reflect on life with a view of achieving those not yet attained accomplishments. At this stage, each day takes on a new meaning and holds even greater significance. It is times like these, when occasions such as birthdays take on a whole new meaning.

On Saturday 27th of October 2012, St Vincent and the Grenadines will be celebrating its thirty third anniversary of independence. This is the opportune time for all Vincentian at home and aboard to take a serious introspective look at ourselves and asked these question: have my contribution to this world been as such or have I made a valiant effort to positively and significantly impact the life of people around me and world I am living in. We must also ask ourself another question: have St Vincent and the Grenadines achievements (economics, political, social, ethical, developmental etc.) are as such that we can honestly say, it was worth while giving up our once held colonial status and went in pursuit of independence.

We must also asked ourselves, have my action or lack thereof contributed to St Vincent and the Grenadines lack of development and expected accomplishments; we must ask ourselves; was I an honest and vigilant guardian of my country’s future ensuring that I sound an objective voice to curtail the evil that has polluted our waters, stained our shores and infiltrated the minds of the people of the home of the Blessed, the land of my birth.

In searching for the answers to these questions, we must delve into our consciences and honestly search every crevice of our intelligence for the answers; for to do otherwise will be to defeat the purpose of conscious and objective reflection. The people of St Vincent and the Grenadines are a special and a favored people; we are endowed with many gifts and talents and have the ability to attain any goal. However we have failed to dream big and we have failed burn the midnight oil in planning and going after the important goals.

Our laid back attitude has molded our vision into seeing just beyond our noses, our lack of desire have stifled our will to achieve and our motivation have grown sluggish, which caused us to becoming contented with the bare minimum.

Within the heart of every Vincentian, there resides a highly combustible fluid that is awaiting ignition; upon ignition this fluid will generate an explosion that will set ablaze the entire world, creating within those who underestimates us, the realization that the sleeping giant has awaken and is about to take up his rightful place on the world stage.
In pondering wonderment I ask, who is going to lead this revolution of ambition. I then take a look into the mirror and conclude that I must be the change I want to see in my people, after all, I can only control the behavior, attitude and will of one man and that is the man that looked back at me in the mirror: Allan Palmer.

So on this day the 27th day of October, 2012, which mark St Vincent and the Grenadines thirty third anniversary of political independence, let us vow to change our attitude towards life, our ability to dream, our desire to plan but most of all our drive to work hard to attain our goals. Now I am taking the opportunity to share with all my country men and women at home and abroad a poem I wrote a while ago, a piece which has been my motto and a call to action in time when I needed the reassurance that it is okay to be different it is okay to be strong, it is okay to be ambitious but more importantly it is okay to be me.

Ambition is not bending over backwards, to fulfill the dreams others have dreamt for you; it is having the courage to dream your own dreams and the will to pursue them, no matter what happens.

AMBITION

Ambition is not bending over backwards, to fulfill the dreams others have dreamt for you; it is having the courage to dream your own dreams and the will to pursue them, not matter how complicated they may be.

Ambition is not walking the clear safe path, just because it is the road that is convenient for the crowd; it is having the will to make a road, where the majority thinks it is impossible.

Ambition is not accepting destructive criticism, when it is aimed at discouraging one’s effort; it is being able to laugh at the critics and work hard to prove that they were wrong.

Ambition is not being afraid of failure. It is realizing that failure is just another word, used to describe a person, who was afraid to try and try and try to achieve the attainable.

Ambition is not giving up on your difficult goals, because success always seems to evade you; it having the courage to following your dreams, even if you think, they are unattainable; remember, miracles can still happen.

Allan Palmer

Peter:

HORACE WILLIAM, you really have to get a hold of yourself mentally.

Your hiding behind alias’s such as SIMON ANDERSON, JOHN, a senior police officer and several others is evidence of you at the least having an inferiority complex, perhaps evidence of serious mental illness.

We all know when you posted as HORACE WILLIAMS, some of your claims were so outrageous that you were banned from posting for a period.

I suppose being exposed as a serial liar using a series of false names is quite annoying, added to exposure of you working as a paid collaborator and saboteur on these blog’s for the GONSALVES Marxist ULP.

Your obviously ill-bred, ill-mannered, and we certainly know badly educated.

Your type of behaviour is most prevalent in people who are ignorant nobodies, trying to be somebody’s, but falling well short of the mark.

Like GONSALVES lying is also your major problem, you cannot even be truthful about who you are. You repeat every lie that Gonsalves utters, and also embroider them.

You attack every decent person who comes on here, people who are honest and don’t need to hide who they are, such as D. Markie Spring and others. You really are a piece of crap.

Do really think that anything you post is seen as credible, even though you try and cloak it in some eloquence, its still crap and lies. You accuse everyone else of lying, and the only one lying is you.

HORACE WILLIAMS, what kind of man would suppress the truth, continually tell lies, and attack decent people who are thank God keeping decency and the truth alive.

Why don't you just go and live in one of the countries with GONSALVES that you all support, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, and any one of those crap states where they kill, torture and maim their own people and in particular Christians. You would not last five minutes in any of those countries, because even they dislike scum bags such as you.

You are truly a servant of Satan, go and worship Obeah with Gonsalves, remember he told us he worships Obeah for the Lord, well you can't worship Obeah for God, so that only leaves the Lord of Darkness 'Satan'.

GONSALVES HAS BEEN A MARXIST ALL HIS ADULT LIFE

The Teachers Agreement, which GONSALVES signed, he new it was unconstitutional and therefore unenforceable.

Here are some surprising writings from a Catholic website that I visited.

“The word of any Marxist is worthless and not to be depended on. Make no contract with any Marxist, for their signature signifies nothing“.

“Show me a Marxist and I'll show you an ends-justify-the-means liar. The Ends Justify The Means is their only guide for life“.

“All Marxists are liars. Marxists have to be liars; being a liar is virtually a definitive characteristic of being a Marxist. Lying is a requirement of being a Marxist. The ultimate goal of the Marxist is to move all of society toward or into Communism; that “worthy” goal is the supposedly noble “End” that justifies, in the mind of the Marxist, any “Means” at all that may be applied to achieve it“.

“It is not possible to be a real Marxist and not be a liar. You cannot betray someone unless you lie to him to have him believe you would not betray him. The whole purpose of the plan involves betrayal on a massive scale“.

“Marxism is a dressed-up Machiavellian plan to use deceit and treachery to assume a throne or a dictatorship. Anything that requires deceit and treachery, meaning betrayal of friends and allies, requires lying“.

ISN’T THE TRUTH ANNOYING?

Least we forget

1/ Ottley Hall, SIMON ANDERSON claims to have all the information about the $200 million for the OTTLEY HALL PROJECT that is only worth $16 million, he knows who embezzled or stole $184 million. Why hasn’t GONSALVES called him to the enquiry?

2/ why did 5 separate women accuse Gonsalves of sex crimes, at least one was a charge of rape. WHY?

3/ Where did the US$1 million in cash come from that was carried to the NCB in an old bag.

4/ Where did the US$s cash come from that leading ULP and family members shared out and some deposited.

5/ Where did the wealth come from that a member of parliament now has in the way of several houses, several cars, several women, several children. The from rags to riches in 11 years.

6/ Why did Gonsalves give a Diplomatic Passport to a man called Morgan, who was not a diplomat, never worked for the government or any government owned organization, the man was caught at London airport using that very same diplomatic passport whilst carrying a kilo of cocaine.

7/ GONSALVES has said on several occasions that he is here to finish the work of MAURICE BISHOP, well according to public records in Grenada and Maryland USA, Bishop gave instructions that people should be sent to Cuba and Russia to learn how to keep two sets of books, to cook the books to enable him to commit fraud against the IMF and WORLD BANK. Has Gonsalves specifically excluded this part of Bishops work?

8/ Who in the ULP government had a house built by the Buccament Bay people not far from Harmony Hall.

9/ Why did GONSALVES sign a contract with the Teachers Union, fully well knowing it was unconstitutional and therefore unenforceable. Then told the teachers it was the best contract the ever had, why?

10/ Why did GONSALVES approve the employment of three policemen who had been convicted of serious crimes, convictions upheld at appeal. Why?

11/ Why has Saint Vincent got a bank account in Havana Cuba, where countries like Iran put money in? and who monitors and audits that account?

12/ How much each were the TEREX trucks at the Argyle airport, and who is responsible for that deal?

13/ Is it true that VINLEC has been supplying diesel fuel to the airport without payment to date. Has such action caused expensive electricity prices to be excessively expensive to the SVG consumers? are the VINLEC consumers paying for the fuel used at the airport?

14/ What was the procedure and reason that David Ames of Harlequin got SVG citizenship, and how did he qualify?

15/ Can anyone explain how the 30% pay awards promised by GONSALVES prior to the 2001 election, is now with inflation a minus 30% pay award?

16/ Why did the police shoot a harmless homeless man in the legs? was he carrying a gun? did he have a cutlass? did he throw sticks or stones? did he say something nasty? After having to high powered top brass meeting, they have now decided to charge the victim. Is that because they may have to reinstate even more criminal policemen if they are convicted of some artificially lower crime than attempted murder?

ISN'T THE TRUTH ANNOYING

Simon Anderson:

HERE ARE ALLAN PALMER'S WORDS:

"They had me fired from the service, and arrested, charged, tried, convicted and imprisoned for conspiracy to kill Ralph Gonsalves."

PALMER WENT TO JAIL IN ST VINCENT FOR ATTEMPTING TO KILL THE PRIME MINISTER.

....As a result, Palmer still spitefully harbours serious resentment and violent jealousies in his jaundiced heart.

PALMER WILL NOT GIVE IT UP! He is like a stubborn PIT-BULL who is persistently intent on achieving his wicked and sinister goals.

But Palmer is more that a JAILBIRD.

Palmer is much more than a conspirator to MURDER.

PALMER is a liar. He is one of the most detestable and representable individuals anyone could imagine.

Palmer is a SEMI-illiterate nobody, really. He is a man who pays school children to write letters on his behalf.

Palmer is so insecure in himself, that he frequently seeks to actually see his name in print. THE MAN SUFFERS FROM AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX.

Palmer, on June 3 2012, wrote a letter to this forum entitled, "Who is Simon Anderson."

I will reproduce that letter here for your viewing.

WHO IS SIMON ANDERSON

Dear Sir:

He came onto the Caribbean News Now (CNN) scene covered in a black cloak of mystery and like a dark knight he wielded a blunted sword of lies, misrepresentation and negativity in defence of his buddy Ralph E. Gonsalves. He is willing to destroy the characters, integrity and good name of anyone; even the innocent and he does so in defense of Ralph E. Gonsalves’ dishonour. As he tries to persuade honest people to lie and speak about Ralph E. Gonsalves in a positive light, his only aim is to have Ralph E. Gonsalves be numbered among the decent and respectable people of the society; a category which his character, behaviour (past and present), mannerism and sense of justice and fair play automatically disqualifies him from entering.

And then I discovered who the annoying Simon Anderson is; as a result, I revealed to the entire readership of the Caribbean News Now just enough clues to make his true identity known. It is time enough I take the Simon Anderson unveiling process a step further. So I will ask and answer this question: who is Simon Anderson?

I will approach this article from three angles; first, I will give a brief history of Simon’s background, then I will go on to tell you about his activities after he left St Vincent in the seventies and, finally, I will reveal certain information as to how he operates, thus revealing some of the qualities that makes up his character. Then I will leave it up to you to decide if Simon and his opinions are worth the price of the paper his opinions are written on.

The person who calls himself Simon Anderson is a male and he hails from the small village of Dickson in Georgetown, St Vincent. After he passed the school leaving exams he found employment as a grade teacher. In those days, in order for a grade teacher to keep their job, he or she was required to enter the teachers college at the expense of the state. They were required to do so before or on attaining three years in that post and they were expected to earn the prerequisites qualification of a teacher.
Simon attended the teachers college, and because he was doing so poorly while in that institution, he abruptly left the program during his final exams; opting to sought employment with the Bermuda Police, who was on a recruiting drive around the time of Simon Anderson’s final exams.

The Bermuda Police Force then recruited Simon Anderson on the premise that, if he was a teacher and was in school trying to obtain his qualification, then he must be a bright boy. But the reality was Simon was in the process of failing his exam and becoming unemployed. So the Bermuda Police Force was instrumental in saving Simon Anderson’s hide and his pride.

Simon then went to Bermuda, where he used the half truth/myth that he left the St Vincent and the Grenadines teachers college to join the Bermuda Police Force, to manipulate his way up the ranks of that institution; on the premise he was a bright boy.
Later he got married to a very beautiful, respectable, ambitious and community oriented Bermudian lass. While this Bermudian lass was busy trying to change the lives of Bermuda’s young people in her profession and as a leader of a prestigious nongovernmental organization (NGO), Simon was also busy: he was busy dragging the respectability of his wife into the gutter with the floozies on that twenty-two square miles island.

Of the almost forty years he lived on the island of Bermuda, Simon Anderson never gotten involved in the community, he had not seen it fit to give back to the community that supported him for almost forty years and after the Bermuda Police Service refused to offer him a contract as they did others, he up and left without even wiping his mouth.

It is no doubt that Simon is obsessed with Ralph E. Gonsalves, and is willing to do and/or say anything to promote Ralph and his agenda. He does so, not because Ralph is a man of integrity, or a good man or a brilliant man with many feasible ideas which will aid in nation building, the revitalization of the economics or because he possesses any of the skills that are needed to propel St Vincent forward. He does so because (as we say in St Vincent) “Ralph spit in his mouth” (the term “he/she spit in yo mouth” is a local term that is use to describe the action of someone who is manipulated by another and are forced to do and say things against their will).

Whilst I was in Bermuda and a serving member of the Bermuda Police Service, Simon tried to use his rank, and his friendship to convince me to support or at least stop speaking the truth about Ralph E. Gonsalves, in public forums. Unfortunately for Simon and his effort, I have a mind of my own and I am not easily convinced. We all know “a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”

This is the same man who never passed up the opportunity to speak badly about his bosses and he did so behind their backs and with their junior. Simon did all within his power to undermine George Jackson’s commissionership. I can clearly remember once I had occasion to defend George Jackson from some unfair criticism, when Simon learned of my actions on George’s behalf, he said to me George Jackson deserved such and if I defend him (George Jackson), I will become unpopular among the ranks.

Although Simon Anderson did not like George Jackson and spent his time pulling the rug from under him, when it was convenient for Simon, he seized the opportunity to seek out George Jackson’s blessings to replace him as Commissioner of Police of the Bermuda Police Service, which he got. But because of allegations, which were made against him, for assault, causing his victim actual bodily harm and although such allegations were covered up (the injuries which I still have pictures of) he still fell from grace with the powers that be. I can picture him now, walking around his living room in his wife-beaters (the name Americans call marinas or vest) and sliders, waiting on PM Gonsalves to call him to take up the promised appointment.

Simon Anderson is the same man who causes me to know Ralph Gonsalves was going to reward George Jackson on his retirement by appointing him into the post of Chief of Airport security in St Vincent and the Grenadines. This was to be Jackson's reward for his unlawful and oppressive action against me. As we all know I caused this information to be made public. Is there any reason why Simon in the shadow of anonymity took the opportunity to try and discredit me and tarnish my character?

Now that I give you a little taste of the man that is hiding behind the name of Simon Anderson, what do you think of him?

Allan Palmer

*******

Nothing which Palmer wrote above is true. ABSOLUTELY, NOTHING!!!

Everything he wrote is a damned lie!

Not one word of his is true.

Palmer is a liar to the bone.

This man is so dumb that he even even recently turned around and is referring to me by other names....even though he swore he knew me PERSONALLY!

Peter:

COOeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! SIMON ANDERSON who is in fact HORACE WILLIAMS, every word that you write is a lie, all in an attempt to destroy decent people.

D. Markie Spring:

Peter I am afraid Horace cannot follow in your shoes. Needless I say more you've done yourself justice. You held your own and like always presented yourself well. Palmer struck a balance between having an introspective and the status quo. But Horace has to spoil it with his usual heinous ranks. Don't stop putting him in his place.
