Daily flights to start between Curacao and Suriname
Published on October 26, 2012 Email To Friend    Print Version

WILLEMSTAD, Curacao -- Starting November 19, Dutch Antilles Express (DAE) will initiate daily flights from Curacao to Paramaribo, returning the same day. The schedule will stop being a “nightmare” as is the case with other airlines flying the same route.

DAE will depart from Curacao with a Fokker 100 flight 901 at 11:30 am and arrive at 3:30 pm local time. The aircraft returns from Paramaribo with flight 902 at 4:30 pm and arrives in Curacao at 6:30 pm local time.

According to Nelson Ramiz, owner of DAE, this service brings changes into the “Suriname product” because of the schedule.

“They are more humane”, he said.

DAE arrives in Suriname early and returns to Curacao the same day before night.

Ramiz adds that there are direct connections with other DAE flights from the so called “Curacao Hub” to destinations like Caracas, Valencia, Maracaibo, Aruba, Bonaire and Miami. In 2013 there will be connections to Bogota and St Maarten.

DAE said it is doing its utmost to offer good products to the community of Curacao and also the whole region. Now Paramaribo, Suriname is within everyone’s reach.
