Caribbean autumn and winter vacations offer substantial savings
Published on August 31, 2013 Email To Friend    Print Version

LONDON, England -- There's no better way to mark the end of summer than with a luxury holiday to one of the most tranquil and laid-back regions in the world, the Caribbean. This island group comprises several idyllic destinations, each with their own unique character and appeal, but all boasting soft powdery sand, vivid blue waters, welcoming locals and delicious, fresh cuisine.

Imagine reclining by the pool on a sun lounger, sipping a colourful cocktail as the palms sway lazily in the breeze, and to make things even more perfect, Hayes and Jarvis have teamed up with British Airways to offer free airport lounge access, meaning the luxury begins even before take-off!

Antigua is famed for its 365 beaches, meaning there are plenty to choose from, not that holidaymakers here tend to move around much! Chances are, the first strip of sand guests lay their eyes on will be captivating enough. Flights depart from London Gatwick on 18 November 2013.

Boasting all the scenery and great beaches typical of the Caribbean, but with an exciting Latin American twist, the Dominican Republic is a great choice for a tropical beach escape. Punta Cana is one of the island's most popular areas with a wide choice of bustling bars, restaurants and shops, and of course secluded beaches. Flights depart on 13 November 2013 from London Gatwick.

Barbados is the classic Caribbean destination, and arguably one of the most popular islands. When you've had enough of relaxing on the pristine beaches, be sure to explore the unique fusion of West Indian and English culture in the island's towns. Flights depart from London Gatwick on 9 October 2013.

Although Mexico may not strictly be in the Caribbean, its best resorts on the Yucatan peninsula stretch out into the Caribbean Sea, and this part of the country rivals Caribbean islands with its warm year-round weather and picturesque shores. Flights depart from London Gatwick on 3 October 2013.
